FAQs

Are these pins authentic?

Yes. Every pin in the ThemeParkPins shop is authentic. Our inventory comes from two sources: pins purchased directly from Disney parks and Disney retail locations over decades of visits, and pins acquired through trades with other collectors in the community. We do not sell scrappers. We do not sell counterfeits. Every pin is inspected before listing.

How do you verify authenticity?

We know what to look for: back stamps, pin post types, enamel quality, and the specific details that distinguish genuine Disney pins from fakes. Our collection was built firsthand, mostly through direct park purchases. If we can't verify a pin to our standard, it doesn't get listed.

Do you sell scrapper pins?

Never. Scrappers are factory overruns that Disney sells to third parties. They look like real pins but were never meant for sale. They're common in bulk lots and trader bins. You will not find them here.

What condition are the pins in?

Mint: Flawless. No scratches, no paint wear, never traded or worn.

Near Mint: Minimal wear. May have been traded once or twice. Nothing visible from the front.

Good: Light surface wear consistent with display or trading. Fully intact.

Trader: Visible wear. Fine for trading at the parks, not for display collections.

What does LE mean?

LE stands for Limited Edition. Disney releases pins in specific quantities. LE 500 means only 500 were ever made.

WDI — Walt Disney Imagineering exclusive. Made for Disney employees and special events.

Cast exclusive — Available only to Disney Cast Members.

Park exclusive — Sold only at a specific park or resort.

Open edition — No production limit. Still collectible, just not limited.

Do you trade?

Yes. Trading is how this hobby works and it's something we genuinely enjoy. Reach out to hello@themeparkpins.com. We're especially interested in WDI, Cast exclusives, and LE 250 and below.

Can I request a specific pin?

We don't take custom orders, but we're happy to let you know if something comes through the collection. Email hello@themeparkpins.com with what you're looking for.

Why are all sales final?

Pin values fluctuate constantly based on what's trading in the community. Allowing returns creates an unfair system where buyers return pins when market prices drop. This is standard across the collector market. We hold ourselves to strict accuracy in every listing so you can buy with confidence.

What if my pin arrives damaged?

Photograph damage immediately, packaging and pin, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We'll make it right.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time. US domestic only.
